Overview
The District Sales Manager in Government Sales is a full-time, remote role based in California, Arizona or New Mexico. This role is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned district, managing key government accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the government space. Day-to-day activities include meeting with prospective and existing customers, presenting Eagleview's products and solutions, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction. The District Sales Manager will monitor regional market trends, build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, and provide regular forecasting and performance reporting. Collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams is expected to optimize sales strategies and enhance customer relationships.
Candidates located in Arizona or California will be preferred. This is a full-time, remote role (based in a geographic territory) with a base salary of $75,000-$110,000, and commission target of $105,000. Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, including experience with territory planning, pipeline management, and closing new business.
- Background in B2B/B2G sales, preferably in technology, software, geospatial data, or related industries serving government, construction, insurance, or solar sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships and deliver high levels of customer service.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business terms.
- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to interpret market data, identify growth opportunities, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Comfort with CRM tools and standard sales productivity software to track activities, manage accounts, and report performance.
- Ability to work remote, independently, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and operating within a structured sales process.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel within the district as needed for customer meetings, industry events, and site visits.
