Position Title: District Manager

About the Position

The District Managers ultimate responsibility is to see that the stores assigned to their region district are profitable and well-staffed with A+ talent and are operating with an A+ consumer experience. The measure of doing this well will result in the achievement of the budgeted net sales, gross profit, and direct contribution of the district for the year. The District Manager must react to the business trends and do this in a manner that is consistent with the companys Leadership Qualities and Core Values. The District Manager is part of the Senior Leadership Team, and as such is responsible for training and developing the companys future leaders.

A day in the life

  • Recruit, hire, train, andretainA+ talent

  • Operate profitable stores assigned in district

  • Deliver the highest level of excellence for our customer experience in our stores

Delivering Results

  • Achieve or exceed Direct Contribution & Budgeted Net Sales

Qualifications for the Position

  • A four-year college degree isrequired.

  • At least 4+years ofexperience supervising at least 7 stores in the womens fashion or luxury retail industry, preferably with a lifestyle brand, arerequired. This experience must be in store operations.

  • Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations

  • Ability to develop andmaintainrelationships with clients and colleagues

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • High levelofownership and responsibility

  • Proficient in Microsoft & Apple technology

A Little More to Know

  • Based on the District Managers location, this position requires a minimum of 25% travel to store locations within scope of responsibility. Further, the District Manager should spend a minimumof 3 days in-store per week. Additionaldomestic travel will berequiredin this position.

  • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may requireflexible,working hours, including nights, weekends,and holidays. This position will adhere to the Home Office Holiday time off policy butis required tobe available as needed on holidays.
