The Distribution Center Supervisor I is responsible for leading and coordinating all inbound warehouse operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and safe receipt of materials and products. This role supervises receiving team members, manages daily workflow, ensures inventory accuracy, and drives compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
The Distribution Supervisor I partners with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Inventory Control, Transportation, Customer Service, and Operations to maintain efficient material flow and support overall distribution center performance.
The position requires a strong focus on employee development, continuous improvement, process discipline, and customer satisfaction.

Position offers a starting salary range of $78,000 - $100,000 USDPay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive at DTNA
- Lead and supervise daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, verification, and system receipt of inbound materials.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper receiving procedures, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Coach, mentor, and develop hourly team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and attendance expectations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as dock-to-stock time, receiving accuracy, productivity, and compliance metrics.
- Coordinate staffing, workload planning, training, and resource allocation to meet operational demands.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement through Lean and problem-solving methodologies.
- Investigate and resolve inventory, transportation, supplier, and receiving-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer requirements and maintain service level expectations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support warehouse and facility initiatives including audits, process improvements, and operational projects.
- Supervises day-to-day work and participate in coaching and development of employees on the Technical and Business Support band in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience OR 6 years of distribution supervisory experience in lieu of degree
- 2-5 years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics operations
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information with employees

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, or similar inventory systems
- Strong analytical, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and workplace safety practices
