Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:- Responsible for the day to day operations of the business unit assigned
- Oversee daily functions of all warehouse employees and drivers
- Responsible for overseeing health and safety activities of the business unit
- Responsible for overseeing 6S activities pertaining to Lean Manufacturing of the business unit
- Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Quality Management System certification to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard
- Conducts analysis of reports relating to sales, volume, payroll, employee turnover, monthly operational and capital expense budgets
- Prepares reports to communicate operational performance and overall performance of the facility to the Executive team
- Develop and implement strong profit and loss and budgeting skills
- Oversee and negotiate contracts with outside vendors
- Review financial statements, sales and activities reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement
- Ensure that customer needs are met and complaints are resolved
- Works with Sales Manager to design and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Adhere to company policies and procedures. Ensures employees are knowledgeable and compliant with company policies and procedures
- Attend and actively participate in monthly operations meeting
- Maintain complete and open lines of communication between the warehouse and corporate office to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
- This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

- 5+ years supervisory and/or management experience within warehousing/manufacturing environment
