Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Account Executive to join the Audio Video Division in Austin, TX.
This position will drive growth by selling OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products and solutions to assigned strategic customers. This role focuses on influencing specification, building long term relationships, and driving pull-through demand with the Legrand AV portfolio of products. . This role involves strategic collaboration with Product Development, Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams at partner organizations to secure design-in wins, specification wins and long-term supply agreements.
Duties and Accountabilities
• Develop and execute specific account plans for assigned customers which deliver revenue, margin and market share objectives
• Secure design-in opportunities by positioning Legrand AV products as critical components within the customer's finished solution.
• Manage the full OEM sales cycle, from initial technical concept and prototyping to production ramp-up and lifecycle management
• Coordinate between Legrand AV product management and customer technical teams to manage custom product requests or modifications
• Provide sales forecasting and demand planning updates to internal manufacturing teams to ensure supply chain continuity for high-volume accounts webapp-lnc....
• Represent Legrand AV at trade shows and technical symposiums to identify emerging OEM trends and new applications
• Assist in resolving technical or logistical complaints, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer's production line

Qualifications
Job Requirements
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Ability to interpret technical standards, engineering drawings, and specifications to align with OEM needs.
• Strong technical AV and IT product aptitude with the ability to discuss product integration and performance metrics with product personnel
• Proficiency in CRM and data analytic tools (Salesforce and Power BI) andbe able to track , multi-year product cycles.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale accounts with high attention to detail regarding technical and commercial requirements
• Excellent negotiation skills for long-term contract management and pricing strategy.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in technical sales, large account management, or industrial marketing
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for handling product samples or demonstration kits
• Regular environment includes both corporate offices and customer manufacturing/assembly facilities.
• Minimum 50% travel required for on-site customer visits, technical reviews, and industry events.
