Job Summary

The Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst supports and leads selected DR program activities, including recovery documentation, inventory and dependency maintenance, testing coordination, evidence management, corrective-action tracking, and program reporting. This role works with technology, cybersecurity, business, and vendor stakeholders to maintain accurate recovery information and validate recovery readiness against enterprise standards. The Senior Analyst applies independent judgment to improve documentation quality, identify gaps, and support recovery capability validation without owning enterprise-level strategy or board-level reporting.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
  • Maintain and improve DR inventory, RTO/RPO, dependency, contact, evidence, and recovery documentation in approved enterprise systems.
  • Support collection and validation of crown jewel and critical data recovery information, including system dependencies, RTO/RPO data, backup evidence, test results, ownership records, and remediation status in approved enterprise systems.
  • Coordinate and validate assigned DR inventory, recovery objective, dependency, and documentation updates in ServiceNow, CMDB, and other approved systems of record.
  • Coordinate assigned tabletop and functional recovery tests, including scheduling, materials, test evidence, lessons learned, and after-action documentation.
  • Support audit and regulatory readiness by collecting evidence, reviewing documentation quality, and tracking remediation items.
  • Monitor cloud, SaaS, managed-service, and vendor-supported recovery documentation for completeness and alignment with enterprise expectations.
  • Prepare program reporting inputs for recovery capability health, test completion, evidence quality, corrective actions, and maturity measures.
  • Support DR input into training curriculum and readiness materials aligned to enterprise standards.


Preferred Requirements:
  • ServiceNow/CMDB experience; experience supporting recovery tests, audit evidence, dependency documentation, and corrective actions; and certification such as ABCP, CBCP, MBCI, ITIL, CDRE, PMP, or equivalent.
