Minimum qualifications:
  • 15 years of experience with technical infrastructure (network, data center, machines) and business systems infrastructure.
  • 10 years of experience developing and monitoring business metrics, including project delivery and supply chain, identifying causes for under-performance, and using metrics for on-going operations.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience leading and scaling complex supply chain operations.
  • Experience directing and developing large globally distributed teams responsible for critical supply chain functions such as strategic sourcing, planning (demand, supply, inventory), manufacturing, logistics, or supplier management.


About the job

The Director, Delivery Operations is a critical leadership role responsible for integrating the business, supply chain, and customer-focused program operations of network delivery. In addition to leading the supply chain, delivery operations, and delivery management teams, the leader serves as an advisor to executive leadership on strategic programs and change initiatives that improve operations. The role acts as the single point of accountability for complex infrastructure delivery, owning the critical end-to-end schedule, proactively managing dependencies, and establishing centralized governance to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD).

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead complex cross-organizational strategic initiatives while managing the rhythm of the business, including executive-level operational reviews and organizational communication.
  • Manage the intake funnel for how customer requirements enter the organization and work across the organization to plan, execute, and monitor the delivery of infrastructure; own end-to-end infrastructure execution, resolving bottlenecks and serving as the single source of truth for project health.
  • Own the network supply chain function, including daily supply operations, strategic vendor relations, collaboration with our internal logistics and supply chain partners, and leading a long-term global supply chain roadmap to drive step-change improvements in sourcing and supply planning operations.
  • Drive the necessary people, process, and tooling improvements, including automation.
