Description & RequirementsMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director, Technical Project Manager to join our team. This is a remote position with up to 25% travel.
The Director, Technical Project Manager is a senior executive leader who oversees complex technology initiatives, directs large cross-functional teams, and aligns service, capability, IT, or hardware delivery with broader business goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Drives overall architectural design and strategy across complex programs.
- Secures delivery pipelines to maintain the highest standards of system integrity.
- Delivers automated infrastructure tailored for mission-critical federal environments.
- Leads, mentors, and scales high-performing teams of technical project and program managers.
- Manages key relationships between engineering, product development, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Oversees complex technology initiatives to align capability delivery with broader business goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of technical project management leadership experience.
- Proven track record leading, mentoring, and scaling teams of technical program managers.
- Demonstrated experience driving architectural design and delivering automated infrastructure in federal environments.
- Hands-on expertise securing delivery pipelines and managing complex technology initiatives.
- Strong background managing relationships across engineering, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience aligning IT, capability, and hardware delivery with broader business strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
- Deep knowledge of automated infrastructure and secured delivery pipelines within federal environments.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $153,800.00-$275,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
