What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a Director, Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end technology integration for mergers and acquisitions. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, security, and business operations, ensuring that acquired companies are seamlessly integrated into our systems, processes, and infrastructure.
The Director will lead the implementation, governance, and maintenance of the company's Merger & Acquisition Integration program for Information Security, IT Operations, Finance IT and HR IT, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives, security and risk management, regulatory requirements, and technical/IT operational practices. As Director, you will drive complex, cross-functional programs spanning IT systems, data platforms, security, and product architecture-ensuring integrations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals.
What You Will DoThe Director position is a remote position within the US. Some limited travel (~10%) is expected This roles primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
Integration Strategy, Planning and Execution- Partner with Corporate Initiatives and internal teams to define integration strategy during due diligence and post-close phases
- Translate business objectives into technical integration roadmaps
- Develop detailed program plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Support technical due diligence activities assessing targets for alignment of technologies, services, compliance, scalability, and technical debt
- Identify integration complexity, risks, and cost estimates
- Act as the central point of coordination across executives, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
- Provide clear status updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting
- Facilitate decision-making across competing priorities
Technical Program Leadership- Lead large-scale, cross-functional integration programs across applications, IT, security, and data teams
- Drive execution of system integrations
- Ensure alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
Risk & Issue Management- Proactively identify integration risks (technical, operational, security)
- Drive mitigation strategies and escalation when needed
- Manage trade-offs between speed, cost, and technical quality
Process & Playbook Development- Build and refine M&A integration playbooks, frameworks, and best practices
- Standardize onboarding and integration processes for repeatability
What You Need to SucceedEducation & Experience:- 8-10+ years of Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or related experience
- Industry certifications preferred: PMP, PgMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP, and/or Agile and Scrum Certifications
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs
- Direct experience with M&A integration, or large-scale system integration
- Strong understanding of design and implementation of complex technical solutions
- Proven ability to influence without authority across senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills

- Strong problem-solving skills with experience driving risk remediation efforts.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar
- PMP, PgMP, or Scrum certifications (nice to have)
