  • Maternity Leave (Short-Term Disability Baby Bonding): 28-30 weeks
  • Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience managing technical projects, with experience in cloud or AI-driven industries.
  • 10 years of experience leading teams within technical program management or engineering management or equivalent roles.
  • Experience with the domain area of Generative AI, Large Language Models, Agents, and AI Workflow tools.
  • Experience leading capacity, utilization, efficiency, and model deployment efforts.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise programs and cloud technologies.
  • Comfort with changing specifications or standards, and experience creating the conditions in which the team feels comfortable and capable of working through in response to ambiguity.
  • Technical expertise in systems and software with the leadership skills needed to influence technical leaders across the company.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that drive executional impact at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, inspire, and build a healthy and scalable organization of Technical Program Managers drawn from several parts of the business, with a goal of driving predictable outcomes for our customers and business.
  • Partner with senior leadership, engineering, and product managers to ensure alignment with engineering and product priorities.
  • Oversee the acquisition, preparation, and lifecycle management of GPU and TPU resources across multiple supply channels.
  • Lead supply management for established and emerging hardware types, coordinating strategic integration within the Vertex fleet.
  • Drive allocation and resource utilization strategies to maximize fleet impact while balancing operational efficiency.
