Full Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Skan's core platform, connecting process intelligence, workflow understanding, data, UX, and AI-readiness into a coherent strategy.
  • Partner with the founders and executive team to translate Skan's category vision into clear product priorities, sequencing, and investment decisions.
  • Lead product management across platform capabilities, including workflow experiences, data insights, enterprise controls, integrations, and foundations for agentic automation.
  • Build a disciplined product operating model with clearer planning, prioritization, decision rights, roadmap communication, and cross-functional accountability.
  • Engage directly with customers and field teams to translate complex enterprise workflows into repeatable, scalable platform capabilities.
  • Balance near-term customer needs with long-term platform strategy, making clear tradeoffs across speed, quality, scalability, security, and commercial impact.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure the roadmap is technically grounded, execution-ready, and aligned with enterprise requirements.
  • Productize Skan's proprietary process intelligence data into insights, recommendations, workflow intelligence, and AI-ready context.
  • Define practical product metrics that connect roadmap progress to adoption, customer value, implementation efficiency, retention, and expansion.
  • Raise the product craft bar across discovery, requirements, written communication, product reviews, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and scale a high-performing product management function with the urgency, judgment, and talent density required for Skan's next stage of growth.

Professional Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including meaningful leadership ownership in high-growth SaaS, enterprise software, workflow, productivity, collaboration, automation, data, or business application environments.
  • Proven ability to build and scale modern SaaS products used by enterprise users; experience with workflow-heavy, business-process-oriented, or horizontal/vertical application platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated product leadership in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the product function is still being built, sharpened, or scaled.
  • Strong platform product instincts, including the ability to connect user-facing workflows, data architecture, integrations, enterprise controls, and long-term extensibility into a coherent product strategy.
  • Experience translating complex customer problems into simple, scalable product experiences and repeatable platform capabilities.
  • Strong customer-facing orientation with a bias toward direct discovery, workflow observation, and firsthand user insight rather than relying solely on secondhand feedback.
  • Practical AI fluency and strong curiosity about applied AI, automation, LLMs, agents, and data-driven workflow products; deep research credentials are less important than sound product judgment around enterprise AI adoption.
  • Ability to partner deeply with technical teams, challenge assumptions constructively, and make product tradeoffs grounded in technical reality.
  • Track record of improving product operating discipline - including prioritization, roadmap management, written communication, product reviews, success metrics, and cross-functional execution.

Personal Characteristics
  • Founder-mode product leader who combines vision, intensity, resourcefulness, and hands-on execution.
  • Sharp, curious, and intellectually honest; able to learn complex domains quickly and separate signal from noise.
  • Strong communicator who can tell a compelling product story, frame tradeoffs, and align founders, executives, engineers, GTM teams, customers, and investors.
  • Strategic systems thinker who connects product choices to customer value, technical architecture, market positioning, and long-term company advantage.
  • High-agency operator who moves quickly from discussion to decision to execution, without waiting for perfect information or mature processes.
  • Customer-obsessed product craftsperson with strong instincts for workflow, UX, clear requirements, crisp prioritization, and measurable outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial, low-ego team builder who can raise the bar for product talent, build trust cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-scaling, high-change environment.
