How you'll make an impact in this roleThis position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below:
- Direct the development and implementation of comprehensive policies and standard operating procedures that align supply chain services with the organization's long-term productivity and strategic objectives.
- Assume ultimate accountability for the preparation and management of departmental budgets, ensuring strict compliance with allocated funding and leading all internal and external regulatory audits.
- Oversee complex supplier relationships and lead large-scale integration teams to ensure seamless operational transitions and optimized resource utilization across multiple facilities and/or large sites.
- Provide executive oversight for the continuous evaluation of supply chain processes to guarantee total adherence to accrediting bodies and national regulatory agency requirements.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with healthcare facility leadership to enhance customer service delivery and ensure that supply chain work allocations support the highest standards of clinical quality.
- Direct team staffing initiatives and leadership development frameworks to ensure the alignment of work assignments with organizational goals, while fostering a high-performing culture.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Supply Chain Professional preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
