The newly established role of Director, Supply Chain Management provides senior-level leadership for end-to-end supply chain operations within a complex, multi-site and multi-business-model environment. This role blends Director-level operational ownership with Senior-level strategic execution, acting as a key partner to global supply chain leadership. This position can be based out of either of our offices in Columbia or Frederick Maryland, or from our facility in Coppell, TX. This role will require being onsite 3-5 days per week.
Your tasks - Execute regional or business-unit supply chain strategies aligned with global and corporate direction -
- Lead purchasing, inventory, logistics, and master data management within assigned scope
- Provide multi-site operational leadership across manufacturing and distribution locations
- Manage production ramp-ups and support periods of rapid growth or transformation
- Operate effectively within a global matrix organization and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead supply chain participation in ERP and SAP-enabled digital transformation initiatives (including S/4HANA)
- Drive performance management through KPIs, analytics, and forecasting
- Maintain compliance with customs, trade, export control, and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and change management initiatives
- Own regional or business-unit supply chain budgets and cost optimization initiatives
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing supply chain teams and leadership pipelines
Your qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership experience
- Minimum 5+ years in a supply chain leadership role within logistics, operations, planning, or transportation
- Experience in electronics, engineered products, or similarly complex environments preferred
- Proven ability to lead in matrix organizations and influence without direct authority
- Strong knowledge of supply chain methodologies and logistics best practices
- Management experience with demonstrable success in applying lean principles, value stream mapping, or 5S methodologies.
- ERP experience required; SAP and S/4HANA program exposure strongly preferred
- Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills
- Experience with U.S. import and export regulations and bonded programs is a plus
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR

The total compensation for this position is $153K-$200K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
