Full Job Description
The primary role of Product Development Management team is to lead and support the various teams within Product Development function. Key deliverables include, actively engaging, from concept to production, in the design and development of new products and their manufacturing processes. Evaluating and driving new technologies creating marketplace differentiation to further grow the business. Develop the vision and formulate operational plans aligned with corporate goals and objectives to ensure the long-term future and profitability of ResMed. Formulate budgets and forecasting, continually monitor resource allocation to control expenses, asset manage and meet external reporting requirements. Ensure rigorous documentation and processes are in place to manage risk.

  • The primary objective of Product Development specialization within Product Development Management Job Family is to lead product development to drive profitable growth of the business through the translation and execution of a clearly defined strategy.
  • Key responsibilities include providing leadership, to grow and maximize the performance and efficiency of the Product Development Team.
  • By doing this, it ensures the delivery of the product roadmap, defining and shaping team culture, as well as end to end program delivery ensuring solutions are delivered on time to market, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve orgnisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.
  • Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers.
  • Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
  • Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional roles.
  • Leads larger number of employees, multiple sub-teams, or large teams with complex or highly technical responsibilities.
