ResponsibilitiesHow You'll Make an Impact - Lead and develop a high-performing front-line leadership team, guiding their growth to achieve strong results and enhance the customer experience
- Oversee engineering and construction operations, including HFC plant management, project execution, security, and new builds to ensure reliable network performance
- Provide technical direction for new and existing technologies, supporting operational initiatives and collaborating with regional leadership on network planning and strategy
- Direct field staff for complex fiber projects, ensuring timely fulfillment and service in line with service level agreements
- Administer capital budgeting and business planning, recommending bid selections and executing approved budget plans to support growth and expansion
- Ensure compliance with Federal Communications Commission requirements and company QA policies, maintaining accurate documentation and operational records
- Lead quality control programs, oversee mapping and design documentation, and participate in succession planning and staff development

QualificationsWhat You'll Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in engineering, related field or equivalent
Experience- 8+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
Skills- Advanced knowledge of telecommunications / Spectrum's products and services
- Expertise in HFC, advanced video and IP Networks
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects and tasks under pressure
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Effective supervisory and motivational skills
- Competence in using personal computers and software applications
- Deep understanding of FCC compliance, rules and regulations
- Knowledge of local, state, OSHA and power distribution regulations
- Understanding of analog transmission line theory, electronic theory, fiber optic theory, national electric code and national electric safety code
Preferred QualificationsEducation- SCTE-BCT/E certification or equivalent
- Relevant industry or vendor-specific certifications and training
Experience- 5+ years of technical management experience
