THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Director, Solutions Delivery

Iron Mountain is seeking an strategic Director, Solutions Delivery to join our Business Function/Department team.

As a key leader at the intersection of complex client requirements and technical execution, you will shape how we architect and deliver scalable SaaS solutions. You will have the opportunity to serve as the regional design authority, taking full ownership of high-value strategic initiatives while turning technical concepts into robust, production-ready enterprise models. Here, your guidance will streamline complex implementations, accelerating time-to-value for our customers and setting the benchmark for delivery excellence.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:
  • Lead Requirement Engineering: Own client requirements elicitation, process documentation, and the translation of enterprise needs into scalable technical blueprints.
  • Drive Strategic Delivery Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of high-value initiatives, managing financial targets, sprint governance, and project timelines.
  • Act as Engineering Bridge: Convert validated functional concepts into structured Epic frameworks and sprint-ready user stories for development teams.
  • Direct Technical Governance & Quality: Ensure solution architectures align with Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) patterns while owning the integration testing strategy across UAT and SIT.
  • Formulate Commercial Sizing: Develop authoritative technical sizing models and estimate Professional Services (PS) hours and custom engineering LOE for Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Serve as the primary strategic liaison between executive-level client sponsors and internal technical execution teams, establishing robust project governance frameworks and clear communication channels to manage scope negotiations, mitigate delivery risks, and align business expectations.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 15+ years of experience in technology delivery roles.
  • Strong knowledge of modern software development, SaaS platforms, enterprise data systems (SQL, Oracle, Elastic), and integration frameworks (RESTful APIs, Kafka).
  • Demonstrated success leading complex delivery lifecycles across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern tech stacks (Python, Java, Springboot).
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills with a degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
