Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute Hi-Cap product strategy in alignment with company revenue goals and market opportunities
- Forecast product demand and capacity needs to support growth targets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set product roadmap priorities.
2. Cross-Functional Interface
- Serve as the primary liaison between Hi-Cap product teams and network/product organizations to align on capacity requirements
- Translate product demand into network capacity plans and vice versa.
- Facilitate regular coordination meetings to resolve capacity bottlenecks and ensure resource availability.
3. Capacity & Resource Management
- Work with network/product engineering to assess current and future capacity constraints.
- Lead capacity planning initiatives to ensure timely delivery of Hi-Cap products without over- or under-provisioning.
- Monitor capacity utilization and adjust plans as market conditions or product mix change.
4. Team Leadership & Execution
- Guide and mentor the Hi-Cap product team, delegating tasks, setting priorities, and tracking progress.
- Ensure team members understand how their work supports revenue growth and capacity goals.
- Represent the team27s needs and challenges to higher management.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate product performance, capacity status, and growth plans to executives, product management, and network leadership.
- Build trust and credibility with both product and network stakeholders to drive buy-in on capacity decisions.
6. Problem Solving & Innovation
- Identify and resolve capacity-related roadblocks that could impact Hi-Cap revenue.
- Explore process improvements or new solutions to increase capacity efficiency.
Job Contribution: This position will oversee the team responsible for assisting with real-time customer escalations tied to urgent, high-value opportunities, while also supporting network prioritization to maximize infrastructure return as larger build projects are executed. Leader is responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
