KPMG is currently seeking a Director, SAP IS-U -Power & Utilities for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:
• Direct and oversee SAP IS-U back office implementations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and utility industry best practices.
• Subject matter expert and architectural leader for the core pieces of the SAP IS-U landscape, specifically: oversees complex billing execution, invoicing processes, and print workbench configurations, manages the structuring of rates, billing schemas, and variant programs, FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable): directs the financial backbone of the IS-U solution, including dunning, payments, collections, and sub-ledger accounting, and oversees meter readings, installations, replacements, and integration with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
• Drives seamless integration between IS-U back office functions and other critical SAP modules, including SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) for front-office operations and SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) for asset lifecycle and work management.
• Leads project workstreams, manages resource allocation, and oversees financial management for large-scale S/4HANA migration programs.
• Acts as a trusted advisor to C-level utility clients, guiding them through complex business transformations, process improvements, and technology adoption.
• Mentors and manages teams of architects, functional consultants, and developers to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.

Qualifications:
• Ten years of deep domain experience within the Utilities sector (Power, Gas, or Water).
• Extensive, hands-on architectural experience with SAP IS-U, with deep specialization in Billing, Rates, Invoicing, FI-CA, and Device Management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and integration touchpoints with SAP CRM/C4C, SAP EAM, and SAP FI/CO
• Proven track record in driving internal transformation initiatives and effectively influencing cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage large consulting teams, oversee complex project workstreams, and navigate executive-level stakeholder relationships.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
