Job descriptionAs the Director, Risk & Insurance Management for Safran Cabin (SCA), you will act as the Company Risk Manager and lead the deployment and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the Company and its subsidiaries, ensuring its effective implementation and integration into business operations. In this role, you will serve as the Business Process Manager (BPM) for the RSK process, "Managing by Risks," and act as the Company's Insurance Manager. This position reports directly to the EVP, Quality, Continuous Improvement & Risks.
Summary of Duties:
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of Safran Cabin's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across all entities, processes, and major programs.
• Identify, assess, and monitor enterprise risks that may impact the achievement of business objectives.
• Partner with risk owners to develop, implement, and track risk mitigation strategies and corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with Safran risk management procedures (GRP-059) and effective utilization of the RiTo2 risk management tool.
• Consolidate and analyze company-wide risk data, including risk exposure trends, risk ratings, risk mappings, and mitigation plans.
• Prepare and present risk assessments and recommendations to the Risk Committee and Executive Committee (COMEX) for review and decision-making.
• Evaluate risk management maturity across entities and processes using the established maturity framework (GRF-0050).
• Collaborate with Division Leaders and Site General Managers to establish annual risk management objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Crisis Management
• Support the Company's crisis management program by participating in crisis response teams during significant events.
• Develop and deliver crisis management awareness and training programs for leaders and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate and facilitate periodic crisis management exercises to assess preparedness and response effectiveness.
• Provide guidance and methodological support to sites and business units in establishing crisis management processes appropriate to the level of risk and severity of potential events.
• Promote a proactive culture of business continuity, resilience, and emergency preparedness across the organization.
Documentary Risk Management
• Partner with Human Resources to ensure documentary risk training completion rates meet established company objectives and compliance requirements.
• Monitor training metrics and identify opportunities to improve employee awareness and engagement.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns to strengthen understanding and ownership of documentary risk management practices.

Candidate skills & requirementsInsurance Management
• Serve as the primary liaison between Safran Cabin and the Group Insurance Department.
• Coordinate and communicate insurance requirements, renewals, and coverage needs across the organization.
• Manage insurance claims activities, including reporting, investigation support, and claim follow-up.
• Review customer, supplier, and service provider contracts to ensure compliance with Group insurance requirements and coverage provisions.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to insurance policies, procedures, and risk transfer requirements.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to the Group Insurance Department regarding claims, coverage, and emerging insurance-related risks.
• Ensure compliance with Group Aero Liability insurance requirements applicable to suppliers, subcontractors, and other third-party partners.
• Support annual insurance renewal processes by gathering, validating, and submitting required data and documentation.
Main Activities:
• Leading and challenging the ERM work of your entity in preparation for and during Risk Committees;
• Challenging entities considering Company perspectives and external risks;
• Maintaining and coordinating the Cabin Risk Representatives network, and training any new members;
• Implementing tools to monitor entity maturity and challenging the associated improvement plans;
• Deploying awareness and training tools for risk management, in particular RiTO2 and backtesting;
• Ensuring the administration of the RiTO2 risk mapping database;
• Applying and updating RSK reference documentation;
• Actively participating in the Group Risk Management and Insurance Management networks, as well as Safran University training programs;
• Manage the entity's sinister claims, from reporting to case follow-up, in coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Check the compliance of insurance clauses in customer, service provider, and supplier contracts with Group insurance policies
• Support the renewal of insurance programs in coordination with the Group by providing up-to-date and reliable data

Other Skills: In-depth knowledge of the aeronautic industry sector in an international context, strong communication and network facilitation skills, solid experience in transversal management, ability to influence stakeholders, build alignment and/or reach compromise in contexts involving diverging interests and significant business stakes.
Preferred Skills: Fluent in English, speaking/understanding French preferred, Spanish is a plus.
