WI-Monroe Clinic Hospital Worker Type: Regular Job Highlights: We are seeking an inspirational, patient-centered nurse leader to serve as Director of Surgical & Procedural Services at SSM Health Monroe Clinic Hospital, a 58-bed community hospital serving rural southern Wisconsin. This leader will provide strategic and operational oversight for a diverse portfolio of procedural services, including the Operating Room, Surgical Center, PACU, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Anesthesia. Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day operations, developing and executing strategy, ensuring responsible fiscal stewardship, optimizing resources and workflows, and advancing evidence-based practices that support high reliability, exceptional quality, and patient safety. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Primary Responsibilities 3 Develops departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system. 3 Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management. 3 Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives. 3 Prepares and monitors budget(s) and ensures that assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.
