  • Lead supplier quality programs, including audits and performance reviews
  • Serve as primary quality interface for customers, supporting audits and inspections

Full Job Description
T1 Energy is looking to hire a Director, Quality Assurance for our G1 Dallas facility. You will build, lead and scale a world class quality organization that supports operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. You will own the Quality Management System (QMS), suppliers and customer quality, product reliability and continuous improvement across the full manufacturing lifecycle. This is a hands-on leadership role inside a high-output manufacturing environment. The expectation is clear: prevent defects, reduce risk, and build systems that scale. What You'll Do
  • Define and execute the annual Quality strategy aligned with plant and company objectives.
  • Lead all site quality functions: quality engineering, inspection, supplier quality, customer quality and after-sales support.
  • Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring ISO compliance and audit readiness.
  • Establish and enforce quality control plans from incoming materials through production, testing, and shipment.
  • Drive root cause analysis, CAPA execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead supplier quality programs, including audits, performance reviews corrective actions, and incoming inspections.
  • Serve as primary quality interface for customers, supporting audits, inspections, and field performance issues.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and major quality incidents; verify corrective actions effectiveness.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, and Operations to proactively mitigate risk and support new product introductions.
  • Build and develop a strong quality team through hiring, coaching, and capability development.
  • Product certification and raw material certification management in global supplies qualification strategies.
  • Define and monitor executive-level KPIs (PPM, FPY, warranty rate, escape rate, audit score, etc.)
  • Quality budget planning and control.
