Full Job Description

This position is responsible for leading the operational performance, scalability, and optimization of the Provado program, a core fulfillment channel within the company's Strategic Mobility portfolio. This role ensures Provado delivers reliable, cost-effective, and compliant transportation solutions while advancing the organization's multimodal strategy. Additionally this role will lead operational execution, vendor management, and partnership-building skills who can work cross-functionally across Product, Local Operations, and Finance to strengthen Provado’s performance, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction.

  • Operational Leadership
    • Owns daily execution and operational health of the Provado network, including fulfillment KPIs, service reliability, and trip volume targets.
    • Leads performance improvement initiatives that reduce cost per trip while improving member experience and on-time performance.
    • Collaborates with Local Operations to optimize scheduling, dispatch, and regional utilization of Provado assets.
    • Develops standardized operating procedures for Provado market launches, implementations, and expansions.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
    • Serves as the primary liaison between Modivcare and Provado vendor partners, ensuring adherence to SLAs, compliance standards, and performance metrics.
    • Partners with Legal, Compliance, and Procurement to manage contracting, renewals, and vendor negotiations.
    • Coordinates with Product and Tech to ensure Provado integration aligns with the broader platform and multimodal technology roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Works closely with Finance and Analytics to track cost drivers, efficiency trends, and forecast capacity needs.
    • Collaborates with the Product and Member Care teams to enhance digital visibility, performance reporting, and feedback loops.
    • Supports client and market-level presentations, acting as an operational subject matter expert for the Provado model.
  • Leadership & Development
    • Leads a small, high-performing team of operational managers or analysts.
    • Creates a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
    • Provides mentorship and development opportunities for team members and future operational leaders.
  • External Engagement
    • Maintains awareness of the non-emergency transportation (NEMT) vendor landscape and best practices in logistics operations.
    • Represents Modivcare at relevant conferences, councils, or industry events related to multimodal and transportation operations.
  • Business Operations
    • Oversees licensure, insurance, and compliance functions as a core business discipline.
    • Ensures operational frameworks meet or exceed regulatory requirements while maintaining scalable, efficient processes.

  • Ten (10) plus years experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Operations Leadership.
  • Five (5) plus years leadership responsibility.
  • Experience with P&L management, forecasting, and contract compliance.
  • Advanced Healthcare and Transportation industry experience a plus.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Provado trip completion rate.
  • Cost per trip reduction year-over-year.
  • SLA compliance and audit readiness.

Salary: $111,000 - $149,900

This role is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
