Full Job Description
The Role:

The Director of Product Marketing is a critical force behind that mission. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of product, sales, and go-to-market, translating the power of ThoughtSpot's AI-driven analytics platform into compelling narratives that resonate with data leaders, business users, and enterprise buyers alike. You'll own the strategy and execution of product positioning, messaging, and launches, while equipping field teams with the tools they need to win. This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role for someone who thrives at the pace of a modern data company and is passionate about the future of AI-powered analytics.

What You'll Do:
  • Own end-to-end product positioning and messaging for ThoughtSpot's platform, including AI-native capabilities, ensuring clarity and differentiation across all buyer personas and market segments.
  • Lead product launches by partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline impact - from GTM planning through execution.
  • Shape the AI narrative: craft forward-looking messaging around ThoughtSpot's AI and agentic analytics capabilities, helping enterprise buyers understand how AI is transforming the way their teams find and act on insights.
  • Develop and evolve competitive intelligence programs, delivering battlecards, win/loss analysis, and real-time field enablement to keep sellers sharp against alternatives in a fast-moving market.
  • Build and deliver sales enablement assets: including pitch decks, solution briefs, demos, ROI tools, and persona-specific content - to accelerate deal velocity and shorten sales cycles.
  • Collaborate with demand generation and content teams to develop integrated campaign messaging that drives qualified pipeline across paid, organic, and field channels.
  • Partner with customer marketing to surface and amplify customer proof points, case studies, and analyst evidence that validate ThoughtSpot's differentiated platform value.
  • Influence product strategy by synthesizing market trends, customer feedback, analyst insight, and competitive signals into actionable recommendations for the Product team.
  • Mentor and grow a team of product marketers, establishing a high-performance culture of clear thinking, crisp writing, and customer obsession.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role at a B2B SaaS or enterprise data/analytics company.
  • Fluency in the modern data analytics stack: you understand how organizations use tools like cloud data warehouses, BI platforms, and AI agents, and you speak the language of both data teams and business stakeholders.
  • Proven AI and analytics storytelling ability: experience crafting messaging around AI-powered products, agentic workflows, or natural language interfaces in ways that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Track record of owning impactful product launches from strategy through execution, with measurable results tied to pipeline, revenue, or product adoption.
  • Strong competitive intelligence skills, with the ability to rapidly synthesize market dynamics and translate insights into field-ready materials.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: you write clearly, speak confidently, and can tailor your message to business and data leaders.
  • Experience marketing to data, analytics, or BI buyers - familiarity with personas such as CDOs, data engineers, data analysts, and business intelligence leads is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on sales enablement experience, including developing content and programs that directly support enterprise sales motions.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional leadership style: you earn trust by being useful, direct, and reliable across product, sales, marketing, and executive teams.
  • Curiosity and adaptability: you stay ahead of market shifts, embrace AI tools in your own workflow, and are energized by rapid product evolution.
