About the Role
The Director, Product Marketing is responsible for defining and leading the department strategy, performance, and results of the product marketing function across Hyland's portfolio. This position leads multiple product marketing teams and senior individual contributors responsible for developing differentiated messaging, leading go-to-market strategy, and enabling revenue growth through cross-functional alignment.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Define and guide differentiated messaging and positioning for Hyland's product portfolio in partnership with product management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead go-to-market strategy, including segmentation, ideal customer profiles, and persona-based messaging, and plan and execute product and solution launches with cross-functional alignment.
- Act as a senior strategic partner across product, sales, demand generation, and customer success to shape business outcomes and drive pipeline growth.
- Identify content needs and oversee development of marketing and sales materials, partnering with sales enablement to ensure teams are equipped with effective messaging and insights.
- Lead department-level strategic planning and portfolio oversight of product marketing programs and initiatives, evaluating and improving processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of product marketers, identifying future leaders and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Role Essentials
You'll need these skills to hit the ground running:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B product or solution marketing, including team leadership.
- Experience in enterprise software markets such as content management or process automation.
- Strong ability to translate product capabilities into clear, meaningful customer value.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated experience using data-driven approaches to measure performance and improve results.
