Full Job Description
The Problem

As Flock moves toward public-market readiness, building robust financial platforms to support our complex commercial operations is a top corporate priority. Architecting our end-to-end Contract-to-Ledger ecosystem requires an enterprise product leader who can connect accounting policy with scalable technology architecture. You will define our financial systems vision, eliminate manual operational workarounds through automated validation, and lead product roadmap execution across our revenue and billing infrastructure.

What You'll Own
  • Lead product strategy, system architecture, and technical execution for the Contract-to-Ledger financial ecosystem, covering Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Hire-to-Pay lifecycles.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and executive leadership to translate commercial strategies and accounting policies into automated system logic.
  • Architect automated pre-close data validation gates inside CRM and ERP systems to enforce transaction compliance and prevent downstream errors.
  • Direct internal product managers and manage relationships with external implementation partners to ensure technical builds align with core platform strategy.
  • Establish automated forecasting data pipelines and platform change-control protocols to support public-market audit readiness.

What This Role is Not
  • This isn't a passive order-taking or project management function, you will maintain absolute ownership over the product backlog, functional data schemas, and sprint sequencing.
  • This is not a finance operations or accounting job, you will focus on technical enterprise product management, system architecture, and platform configuration.
  • This isn't a hands-off strategy position, you will author functional specifications, map cross-platform data handshakes, and oversee technical implementation details.

What You Bring
  • Demonstrated experience running technical product management or enterprise architecture across financial lifecycles, including automated billing, deferred revenue, and ERP behaviors.
  • Proven track record managing product managers and guiding dedicated engineering partners to deliver enterprise software capabilities.
  • Operational experience managing data integrations and configurations within enterprise financial platforms such as Salesforce Billing, NetSuite ERP, NetSuite ARM, or specialized subscription management platforms.
  • Capability to design cross-platform data handshakes and translate raw system signals into automated validation gates and reporting workflows.
  • Consultative approach to partnering with executive stakeholders to standardize repeatable business processes before writing technical code.

Compensation

In this role, you'll receive a starting salary between $200,000 and $250,000 as well as Flock Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in depth with you during our first chat.

Some problems get solved faster in the same room, so we prioritize candidates in Atlanta and Boston. Hub-based roles mean real in-person time with your coworkers. Remote roles exist, and when a posting is open to remote work, it says so.
