Product Management Director - Edge Devices
As a Product Management Director - Edge Devices here at Honeywell, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of product management initiatives within the UL portfolio, focusing on edge device solutions. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, customer discovery, and new product introductions that enhance building automation capabilities and deliver cutting-edge technology to market.
You will report directly to our VP GM Fire Americas, and you'll work out of our St. Charles, Illinois location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of advanced edge device products that improve building safety, security, and operational efficiency, contributing to Honeywell Technologies' mission to create smarter, safer, and more efficient buildings worldwide.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute product management strategies for edge devices within the UL portfolio, aligning with business objectives and market demands.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Conduct market research and customer discovery to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities in building automation edge devices.
• Drive the product roadmap development, prioritizing features and enhancements that deliver value to customers and differentiate Honeywell in the marketplace.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define go-to-market strategies and support sales enablement for new product introductions.
• Monitor product performance metrics and customer feedback to continuously optimize product offerings and drive growth.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Extensive experience in Product Management with a focus on edge devices or related technology within building automation or industrial IoT sectors.
• Experience in the Fire Alarm, Sensing technologies, Smart devices, IoT devices, or related technologies.
• Strategic thinking, Innovation leadership, Commercial/business acumen and Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and sales teams
• Strong expertise in product lifecycle management, market analysis, and customer discovery to drive successful new product introductions.
• Proficiency with technologies and tools relevant to edge computing, device connectivity, and integration within building automation systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product portfolios in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:
The annual base salary range for this position is $192,000 - $240,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
