Overview At Quorum Software, our Product Managers lead the charge in innovating and executing new products and features. We are looking for a platform-minded leader to own the Quorum Upstream & Midstream Platform - the shared data, integration, and services layer that Quorum's energy applications are built on. Its scope spans the Quorum Agentic Platform, ontology-based data products, document and knowledge management, and a unified portal layer that serves as the surface access point to key platform capabilities. This role is for someone who can dive into an industry, conduct research to gain key market insights, create use cases, and build consensus and business cases around platform opportunities. Our Product Managers work closely with all areas of the organization to drive vision and strategy, define roadmaps, and deliver products that meet our user and business objectives. Responsibilities - Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Quorum Upstream & Midstream Platform, spanning the shared data and integration layer, the Quorum Agentic Platform, ontology-based data products, document and knowledge management, and the unified portal layer that provides surface access to key platform capabilities
- Identify market problems and use cases specific to data platforms serving the energy value chain; define market requirements by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and attending conferences and tradeshows
- Balance the needs of two distinct customer sets: the internal application teams who build on the platform, and the external customers and partners who consume its data, APIs, and services
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, driven by the overall strategy, including ideas, features, and initiatives as they progress through approval and release
- Partner with Finance, Strategy and Sales on packaging and pricing for platform capabilities - including subscription, consumption, and entitlement models - and help build the business case that ties platform investment to commercial outcomes
- Remain current on data platform and software industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and ensure that Quorum products align with these new developments
- Establish and maintain the competitive landscape, which allows us to make informed decisions based on strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the marketplace
- Identify and prioritize opportunities that align with corporate strategy and will result in increased product sales, customer retention, and increased efficiency (e.g., reduced support and/or implementation requirements)
- Define and track platform adoption and health metrics - such as API consumption, data volumes, tenant onboarding time, and the delivery velocity of teams building on the platform
- Create a culture of innovation based on product improvement and data-informed decision making, and set expectations for engineering teams to deliver value
- Work with product development team to define product release user stories and requirements, with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, with sales channels to drive understanding of the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer
- Evangelize vision for the platform both within the organization and externally to the industry; communicate clearly within the organization the market problems and user personas
- Develop and maintain product documentation and user guides, including developer- and API-facing documentation
- Work closely with Engineering Lead to ensure clear communication throughout release cycle

Requirements - Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of eight years of experience in Product Management with SaaS, cloud, or enterprise B2B products
- Demonstrated experience with data platform products - data integration and pipelines, APIs, ontology or common data models, master data, or analytics and reporting enablement
- Proven track record of building and delivering platform products, including owning a platform roadmap that serves both internal application teams and external customers
- Working knowledge of one or more of the platform's core domains, with the ability to ramp quickly on the rest: agentic and AI platform capabilities (agent orchestration, tool and API invocation, evaluation and guardrails), ontology-driven data products, document and knowledge management (unstructured content, search and retrieval, governance), or unified portal and shared user experience layers
- Experience defining a unified portal or shared experience layer that surfaces capabilities from multiple underlying products and services, including navigation, identity, entitlements, and a consistent user model across applications
- Some knowledge or experience with platform pricing and packaging, such as consumption-based, tiered, or entitlement-based models, and how platform investment translates into commercial value
- Knowledge or experience in the Energy industry, with some experience in the Upstream sector
- Demonstrated ability to scale existing products into new/adjacent markets and geographies
- Demonstrated technical prowess including solving complex problems, working knowledge of SQL and modern data architectures (cloud data warehouses, APIs, event streaming, microservices), and familiarity/understanding of systems architecture
- Experience in interpreting and defining product requirements
- Experience in working directly with development teams
- Excellent communication skills to include internal/external interaction with varying background and roles, documentation, and presentations
- Understanding of various software applications and/or methodologies (Agile and Scrum)
- Full-cycle product management capabilities, including developing roadmaps, establishing goals, writing specifications, monitoring release execution, and defining rollout strategies (preferred, but not required)
- Experience using Azure DevOps (preferred, but not required)
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Additional Details - Salary commensurate with experience ($142,000 - $220,000 US Dollars) with bi-weekly pay via direct deposit. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Quorum Software reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications, experience, training, work history, and geographic location of the selected candidate.
