The Role:Our Directors are responsible for owning client relationships and delivering successful transaction outcomes, making them integral to Forge's revenue growth and success in the private markets.
This role requires deep expertise in capital markets client relationships. Familiarity with deal execution with institutional clients is highly valued-especially in longer-duration transactions such as private placements.

Location: This role requires 2-3 days a week in office in San Francisco, CA.Responsibilities- Monetize existing client relationships by managing deals from initial match through confirmation and close
- Develop new relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, wealth management platforms, angel investors, and other buy-side clients
- Build and maintain relationships with sellers, including individuals, venture capital/private equity firms, and their limited partners through regular engagement
- Expand Forge's network within Silicon Valley communities, high-net-worth individuals, angel groups, and family offices
- Collaborate with growth engineering teams to manage, automate, and scale inbound and outbound client engagement
- Provide market insights, demonstrate expertise, and oversee transaction processes to align supply and demand
- Partner with operations, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomes
Qualifications- 5-7 years of experience in financial services sales, with a focus on institutional sales and/or private placements
- Proven experience managing individual quarterly sales or revenue targets
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
- Strong commitment to client service with exceptional attention to detail throughout the deal process
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

For residents of San Francisco, CA/Bay Area the total compensation (salary + bonus) ranges from $200,000 - $350,000 depending on individual performance. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on candidate performance, experience, expertise, and other factors.
