What We're Looking for

We are looking for a Director, Practice Operations who will bring structure, clarity, and alignment to how we work. This role connects people, processes, and priorities across the firm to ensure projects and initiatives move forward effectively, while also strengthening the systems, controls, and compliance practices that support responsible and sustainable growth. What You'll Get up to
  • Lead and improve internal operations, systems, and workflows across the firm
  • Support leadership in translating priorities into clear plans, timelines, and actions
  • Coordinate and drive cross-functional initiatives that span teams and studios
  • Bring consistency to planning, tracking, and accountability across projects and initiatives
  • Establish and strengthen operational standards, governance practices, and internal controls
  • Partner with Finance and studio leads to support project financial discipline, forecasting, and billing accuracy
  • Work closely with People & Culture to ensure alignment with internal policies, employment standards, and best practices
  • Support firm-wide compliance with professional practice requirements, contracts, and regulatory obligations across jurisdictions
  • Identify operational, financial, contractual, and compliance risks and bring forward practical, proactive solutions
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and documentation standards to ensure accuracy and readiness
  • Support leadership meetings through agenda development, coordination, and follow-up
  • Support internal communication to ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment across the organization
What You Bring
  • 7-10+ years of experience in operations, project management, or professional services environments
  • Experience in architecture, design, engineering, or consulting is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in business, architecture, design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience building or supporting operational processes, governance frameworks, and compliance practices
  • Familiarity with professional services contracts, regulatory environments, or multi-jurisdictional work is an asset
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguity without overcomplicating processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence and coordinate work across teams without direct authority
  • Practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong follow-through
