How you'll make an impact in this roleDevelop and lead the implementation of policy, procedures and initiatives for assigned services.
- Work collaboratively with insurance partners and clinic/hospital partners in developing Population Health programs.
- Develop service area goals and standards consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirement of the health care delivery system.
- Plan, organize and direct activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepare service area budget and ensure that department operates within allocated funds.
- Coordinate and direct internal and external driven audits.
What minimum requirements you'll needEducation:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those year
being in leadership/management.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience (leading people, teams, or departments)
- Master's degree required
- Prior experience with Maryland's Total Cost of Care (TCOC) reimbursement model and value-based contracting
