Full Job Description
The Director of Program Management oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs to ensure alignment with business objectives and maximize organizational value. This role establishes PMO methodologies, defines scope and deliverables, and drives efficiency through change, risk, and resource management. By leading cross-functional teams and monitoring performance, the Director ensures programs are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with policies, while providing clear updates to senior leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define scope of work and deliverables based on business requirements, and advise
    project ROI.
  • Develop and deploy project management office methodologies.
  • Plan the programs from start to completion involving deadlines, milestones and
    processes.
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for
    improvements.
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.
  • Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed.
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to internal policies.
  • Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • "Can-do" attitude and mind set with hands on approach.
  • Proven experience as program manager / portfolio manager in cross-functional
    organizations.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.
  • Working knowledge of MS office and program management software (e.g. Basecamp,
    MS Project etc.)
  • A business acumen with a strategic ability.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.


Educational/Certification Requirement:

  • BSc in engineering, PMP certification is a distinct plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
