Job Description:

The Director - People Strategy role connects leaders, resources and expertise around the work that matters most - accelerating decisions and execution while building the capabilities and ways of working PS needs for the future.

Success requires enterprise thinking, strong business acumen, executive influence and the ability to create clarity, alignment and momentum across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead PS Strategy & Enterprise Priorities
  • Partner with PS and firm leaders to translate firm strategy into prioritized people, workforce and capability initiatives.
  • Serve as the central connection point for PS leaders, aligning priorities, resources and expertise to accelerate decisions, remove barriers and drive results.
  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, with clear outcomes, ownership and accountability.
  • Maintain an enterprise view of PS priorities to identify dependencies, resource needs and opportunities to simplify, scale or accelerate work.


Enable Workforce Strategy & Capability
  • Turn workforce priorities into actionable plans that build the skills and capabilities needed to execute firm strategy.
  • Partner with HRBPs, COEs and business leaders to assess workforce capabilities, identify critical gaps and implement solutions.
  • Use workforce metrics, trends and insights to anticipate needs and inform leadership decisions.
  • Ensure workforce solutions strengthen performance and create meaningful opportunities for people to grow.


Strengthen PS Performance & Capability
  • Partner with PS leaders to strengthen the capabilities, behaviors and accountability of a high-performing function.
  • Build enterprise and business acumen by connecting PS teams to firm strategy, business priorities and market dynamics.
  • Create practical tools and approaches that improve consistency, collaboration and effectiveness across PS.


Drive Change & Continuous Improvement
  • Build change, adoption and continuous improvement into strategic initiatives from design through implementation.
  • Equip leaders to sponsor change, anticipate resistance and reinforce new ways of working.
  • Use data, feedback and outcomes to improve solutions while considering risk, compliance and equity.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR, people strategy or organizational leadership experience in a complex environment; professional services experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success translating business strategy into enterprise people and workforce initiatives and leading them through execution and adoption.
  • Proven ability to build organizational capability, lead high-performing teams and influence senior leaders across functions without direct authority.
  • Strong business acumen, executive presence and analytical thinking, with the ability to create clarity, alignment and momentum in complex environments.


The pay rate range for this job position is $175,000 to $315,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees
