Director, PDS Technology

Location: Virtual
Department: Project and Development Services (PDS)

Role Purpose

The Director, PDS Technology will hold a deep understanding of a range of business technologies being used within the PDS organization (in particular technologies that involve project management financial and sourcing applications integrated across multiple products and business workstreams). S/he will play a leadership role within our Americas technology team owning critical aspects of technology used across the PDS business. The role will make recommendations and/or to implement change that either rationalizes our investment in competing technologies, achieves long term scalability improves our operating compliance and reduces operational costs.

S/he will be a strong business partner with JLL technologies, as the applications owner, overseeing platform support deliverables and seeking to continuously enable automation and digitization opportunities. S/he will develop strong relationships across the PDS organization to monitor, manage and influence the implementation of world class processes driven by the digitization and automation of our service delivery.

The role will support implementation activities associated with platform technology including creation of standard operating procedures, data migration activities, and supporting end user training.

The role will manage a range of operating functions associated with the business technologies, including sales advice & support, technology deployment, account solutions, technology training & compliance; through a combination of internal resources and/or by further developing the relationship with our shared service centre partners

What this job involves

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of critical features and integrations with project management platforms supporting over 10k users globally.
  • Specialized focus in financial and sourcing aspects of various products including integrations to support technologies.
  • Drive to continually develop our technology platforms delivering applicability at local, regional and global levels.
  • Maps digitized processes from end to end and facilitates workshops across multiple functions to review and improve, partnering with Operational Excellence team.
  • Works as a key contributor within the PDS business line to identify & deliver strategic deliverables and outcomes for PDS and more broadly.
  • Partners with JLL technologies product and engineering teams to develop platform integrations of project management tools to finance and sourcing applications
  • Responsible for a technology operating platform focussing on technology sales support, technology deployment & refresh, training and compliance
  • Manages internal stakeholder relationship programs & feedback channels to design and deliver improvements to the technology platform/s

Experience
  • Experienced as a creative leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience in technology and business operations.Prior experience working across multiple business lines in a cross functional role
  • Prior experience in a transformational role using the ability to influence, motivate and coach diverse teams to enable workforce adaptation and bring change
  • Experience collaborating with and working in concert with other functions and businesses to achieve results.

Estimated compensation for this position:

150,000.00 - 180,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
