The RoleAs part of the Payments team, the Senior Director of Payments Partnerships will play a pivotal leadership role in executing Arrive's global payments strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Payments Strategy, Partnerships & Products Management, this role carries expansive global responsibilities encompassing our North America, Europe, Latin America, and MEA markets. Based in Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid), you will operate with a high degree of autonomy to lead a team of two direct reports. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, expanding, and negotiating with our landscape of critical partners-including major card schemes, large acquirers, processors, and fintechs-to drive value, innovation, and livable city solutions across our global footprint.
How to make an impact- Lead and execute the payments partnership strategy across all key markets (North America, Europe, Latin America, and MEA), defining the roadmap for partner integration and regional expansion.
- Mentor, develop, and lead a team of two direct reports, fostering a proactive, innovative, and high-performing culture while coordinating partner management.
- Operate with a high level of autonomy to identify new market opportunities, anticipate trends within the payments ecosystem, and independently drive strategic initiatives.
- Manage relationships with a diverse and complex landscape of key industry players, including global schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), large acquirers (FiServ, Elavon, Planet, Adyen), payment processors, and fintechs.
- Leverage excellent negotiation skills to establish, renew, and optimize complex contracts and commercial agreements, ensuring favorable terms and scalable frameworks for Arrive.
- Act as the primary point of contact and strategic lead for external payment partners, ensuring mutual growth, operational excellence, and alignment with regional compliance requirements.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams (Product & Technology, Finance, Legal) located across several countries.
- Structure standard processes for onboarding and managing external payment partners, successfully navigating regional nuances and market needs globally while setting MBR/QBR routines and KPI reviews.

Your background- Approximately 20 years of total professional experience, with a significant focus dedicated directly to the payments industry.
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles within payments, fintech, or related sectors, including experience managing and inspiring direct reports.
- Deep expertise in managing relationships and establishing complex contracts with major card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) and large acquirers/processors (FiServ, Elavon, Planet, Adyen, etc.).
- Extensive experience operating on a global scale, specifically across North America, Europe, Latin America, and MEA markets.
- Exceptional communication, cross-functional collaboration, and contract negotiation capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with high autonomy and a highly proactive, strategic mindset.
