We are seeking a highly experienced
Partnerships Director to lead and expand our strategic partner ecosystem. This role is ideal for a commercial leader with deep industry knowledge, strong technical acumen, and a proven track record of building successful partnerships with engineering firms, system integrators, and technology providers.
As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will identify high-value collaboration opportunities and drive the relationships to define joint go-to-market initiatives that accelerate product adoption and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the company's partnerships strategy to support growth goals across engineering, utilities, and technology markets.
- Drive commercial opportunities with the partners from conception to execution to achieve order and revenue goals.
- Identify, onboard, and manage high-impact partners, including engineering consultancies, digital transformation integrators, etc.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with C-level and senior technical stakeholders across the water and infrastructure sectors.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, partnership frameworks, and joint business plans.
- Analyze market trends in digital water, hydraulic modeling, digital twins, AI/ML for water systems, and asset management to inform partnership opportunities.
- Track, report, and optimize partner performance, ensuring measurable value and ROI.
Required experience:
- 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances in water engineering, water utilities, infrastructure consulting, or water-focused software.
- Strong background working with software solutions such as hydraulic modeling, SCADA/IoT systems, asset management platforms, GIS tools, or digital twin technologies.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling partner ecosystems and managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements and drive shared revenue outcomes.
- Experience driving go-to-market plans, co-selling motions, and integrated solution offerings.
The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
