Full Job Description
Position Overview:

The Director of Operations Services is responsible for leading the centralized support functions that enable operational performance, compliance, systems stability, and execution discipline across Wikoff's network. This role oversees Quality, Safety, Environment & Health, IT Services, ERP & Systems, and PMO activities focused on Operational Excellence projects. The Director of Operations Services ensures these functions operate as integrated business enablers, supporting standardization, risk reduction, process improvement, and scalable execution across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for quality management, safety compliance, environmental controls, IT service delivery, ERP performance, and project execution
  • Drive standardization of policies, procedures, documentation, reporting, and performance management across all Operations Services functions
  • Oversee the development and execution of operational excellence projects that improve safety, quality, cost, service, systems, and process performance
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and HR leaders to ensure support functions are aligned to business priorities
  • Ensure the QMS is effectively maintained, audit-ready, and aligned with ISO 9001 requirements
  • Lead safety, environmental, and health compliance programs to reduce operational risk and improve site-level accountability
  • Oversee IT Services and ERP systems to ensure reliable systems, effective user support, data integrity, and business process enablement
  • Establish clear KPIs, reporting cadence, escalation processes, and corrective action tracking across all areas of responsibility
  • Build functional capability, leadership depth, and cross-functional alignment within the Operations Services team


Key Deliverables:

  • Fully integrated Operations Services governance model implemented across Quality, Safety, Environment & Health, IT Services, ERP, and PMO within 12 months
  • Improved audit readiness, corrective action closure, safety compliance, and environmental reporting performance across all sites
  • Operational Excellence project portfolio prioritized, governed, and tracked with clear ownership, milestones, benefits, and risk controls
  • ERP and IT service performance improved through defined SLAs, issue escalation, user support standards, and system improvement roadmap
  • Standardized reporting dashboard established for Operations Services KPIs, including quality, safety, compliance, IT service, ERP, and project execution metrics
  • Year-over-year improvement in operational risk reduction, process standardization, and cross-functional execution effectiveness

  • Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
  • Direct Reports: Quality Manager, Safety Manager, Environment & Health Manager, IT Services Manager, ERP & Systems Manager, PMO


Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field required
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline preferred
  • Relevant certifications preferred, including PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ITIL, OSHA, or environmental compliance certifications


Required Experience:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across operations, quality, EHS, IT systems, project management, or operational excellence
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional support functions in a manufacturing, chemical, coatings, or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, safety compliance, environmental controls, ERP platforms, IT service delivery, and project governance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead operational improvement projects, standardize processes, and implement performance management systems
  • Experience managing multi-site support functions and influencing leaders across operations, supply chain, commercial, finance, and HR
  • Strong leadership, communication, change management, and execution discipline with the ability to turn functional support teams into business performance enablers
