Description:The Director, Operations Performance provides strategic and operational leadership for initiatives that advance organizational performance, operational integration and service excellence across Acute & Primary Care. The position monitors portfolio performance through data analysis and operational dashboards, identifying trends, opportunities and risks to support informed decision making and achievement of organizational objectives. Working closely with senior leaders, physicians and key stakeholders, the Director develops and implements strategies, policies, standards and action plans that support integrated operations, quality improvement and sustainable service delivery. The role leads initiatives that advance innovative models of care including integrated care pathways, interdisciplinary approaches, virtual care solutions and community-connected services. The Director leads complex change initiatives by engaging stakeholders, assessing impacts, managing risks and ensuring successful implementation of organizational priorities. The position fosters collaboration across programs and portfolios while building effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support system-wide objectives. The role contributes to short- and long-term planning, priority setting and execution of strategic initiatives that support Covenant Health's operational and transformation goals. The Director oversees resources within the portfolio including management of the COO Office operating budget and stewardship of financial, human and operational resources. The position promotes a culture of quality, safety, accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, standards and regulatory requirements in support of exceptional patient care and service delivery. Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in a healthcare profession with 8 years of progressive healthcare management experience.
Additional Required Qualifications: Demonstrated experience leading complex organizational initiatives and transformational change within a large, dynamic healthcare environment, including planning, implementation, evaluation and sustainment of outcomes. Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, navigate complexity and achieve results through collaboration, influence and sound judgment. Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams through coaching, empowerment and accountability. Fosters a culture of trust and ownership while avoiding unnecessary oversight and supporting the growth and development of others. Strong ability to advocate for operational priorities, resources and team needs while balancing organizational objectives and fostering effective partnerships across programs, portfolios and stakeholder groups. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, influence decision-making and successfully lead change in complex environments. Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree in healthcare, leadership or business administration. Experience in acute & primary care, project management and lean methodology.
