Job Description:
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director,OperationsLeadership & Learning, this hybrid position will be located in Rayhnam, MA (USA). Alternate Hybrid locations maybe considered at Raritan, NJ (USA); West Chester, PA (USA); Palm Beach Gardens, FL (USA); Raynham, MA (USA); Warsaw, IN (USA); Zuchwil, Switzerland or Loughbeg, Ringaskiddy Ireland.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics company, operatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipatedto be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may berequired, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it isanticipatedthat, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthesand your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate timeand subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Reporting into the Strategy & Transformation group within global operations, the Director, Leadership & Learningis responsible forshaping and delivering enterprise leadership development and learning strategiesacross the global operations functional landscapethat build critical capabilities, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support business transformation across DePuy Synthes. This role partners closely with senior leaders, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to design scalable, data‑drivenleadership development programs and learning pathways that enable performance, engagement, and long‑termgrowth. The position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by attracting key talent andadvancing leadership effectiveness during a pivotal period of organizational evolution.
Lead the global training and certifications process to upskill workforce in critical operational skillsets and methodologies, e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, project management, change management
Establish and govern learning frameworks, curricula, and standards to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability.
Drive innovation in learning delivery through blended, digital, and experiential approaches, leveraging external vendors and internal expertise.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degreerequired(Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Operations,Supply Chain,or related field).
Master’s degree preferred (e.g., Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, MBA, or related discipline).
10-12 years of progressive experience inglobal leadership positionsin Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, HR, or related functions.
Demonstrated experience designing and leadinglarge‑scaleleadership, employee engagement, corporate culture,and/orlearning initiatives.
Strongpeopleleadership experience, including coaching, developing, and leading individuals and leaders.
Leadership development, coaching, or learning certifications preferred (e.g., ICF, SHRM, ATD).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000.00 - $258,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate
