Full Job Description
The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services is seeking an experienced, collaborative leader to serve as our Director of Zone Operations.

This leadership position partners with Human Service Zone Directors, county leaders, and agency executives to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of state-funded, county-administered human services across North Dakota.

As a member of the Department's leadership team, the Director of Zone Operations will lead statewide operational initiatives, strengthen partnerships with local communities, support organizational excellence, and help shape the future of service delivery throughout the state.

Location
This position will be hybrid within ND.

Minimum Qualifications

You will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of significant progressive leadership experience in human services, healthcare, public administration, or a comparable complex organization.

Experience in the following:
  • Leading large-scale operational initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with multiple governmental or community partners.
  • Managing organizational change and complex stakeholder relationships.
