How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Strategic Program Growth: Spearhead the strategic growth and market expansion of the Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) programs, aligning departmental goals with clinical excellence, legal compliance, and community healthcare needs.
  • Cross-Facility Resource Optimization: Partner collaboratively with executive leadership, physicians, and regional directors to streamline operations and establish a resource-sharing framework across multiple locations, optimizing equipment, supply chains, and specialized staffing.
  • Clinical Excellence & Quality Assurance: Direct all clinical workflows-including patient assessments, care plan development, and complaint management-while coordinating rigorous internal and external audits to eliminate obstacles to high-quality patient care.
  • Fiscal Accountability & Budget Management: Prepare, monitor, and optimize multi-million dollar departmental budgets, ensuring the L&D and NICU units operate within allocated funds while maintaining financial effectiveness and service excellence targets.
  • Transformational Leadership & Talent Development: Lead the recruitment, training, and professional development of a high-performing nursing team, fostering a culture of accountability, mentorship, and continuous performance evaluation.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.


Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • History of successfully building clinical programs strongly preferred
