Full Job Description
As we continue rapid growth across multiple markets, we9re looking for a Director of Training to build and lead a best-in-class field training organization that scales with us. We are looking for a highly operational, field-focused leader who understands the pace and energy of high-volume, multi-unit, drive-through coffee and/or restaurant environments and knows how to develop training that actually works in the real world.

You will lead training strategy and execution across all levels of store operations, from Baristas and Stand Managers to Regional Managers and Operations leaders, ensuring every team member is confident, capable, and ready to deliver the 151 experience at speed.
What You Bring & Will Own
Field Training Leadership
  • Build and lead a scalable field training function across a rapidly growing multi-unit operation
  • Develop 4train-the-trainer4 programs that equip Regional Managers and Stand Managers to effectively coach and develop their teams
  • Spend significant time in the field observing operations, identifying opportunities, and coaching leaders in real-time
  • Partner closely with Operations leadership to ensure training aligns with operational goals, store performance, and company culture
  • Support new store openings through structured onboarding, operational readiness, and in-market training support
  • Create high-energy, engaging training experiences that resonate with frontline teams, including younger hourly employees and Baristas
Training Strategy & Program Development
  • Design and execute a company-wide training strategy aligned with growth and operational excellence
  • Develop scalable, repeatable training programs that drive:
  • Customer experience
  • Speed of service
  • Product quality and consistency
  • Team engagement and culture
  • Build leadership development pathways for Stand Managers and Regional Managers
  • Identify operational and performance gaps and implement targeted training solutions
  • Use KPIs, audits, customer feedback, and operational metrics to continuously improve training effectiveness
Training Content & Operational Standards
  • Develop and maintain operational training materials including playbooks and job aids
  • Standardize training processes while allowing flexibility for regional and store-level needs
  • Ensure training programs are practical, easy to execute in-store, and built for long-term retention
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, People, and Marketing teams on new initiatives, product rollouts, and operational updates
  • Evaluate and implement modern learning tools and systems to improve scalability and consistency
Coaching & Culture Development
  • Help create a coaching culture centered around accountability, positivity, recognition, and development
  • Reinforce the 151 Coffee brand experience and culture through every training interaction
  • Serve as a visible and trusted partner to field leadership teams
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Training or Field Enablement leadership
  • 3-5+ years leading training within multi-unit, drive- through coffee and/or restaurant environments
  • Strong understanding of frontline operations and high-volume drive-thru environments
  • Experience supporting rapid growth and new store openings
  • Strong field facilitation, coaching, and leadership development skills
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with frontline teams through executive leadership
  • High-energy, hands-on, adaptable leadership style
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities shift quickly
