Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Director of Strategy and Operations. The Director of Strategy and Operations Is responsible for being a core member of the Corporate Strategy team. Activities will include executing analysis, developing proposed action items, and leading initiatives related to margin improvement, integration support, and operational support to the field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Influence business direction by combining strategic planning, program management, administrative support, and process improvement
  • Maintain oversight responsibilities for operational efficiency initiatives
  • Work with teams across the business to identify opportunities to improve best practices and drive initiatives
  • Meet with stakeholders throughout the organization to craft and execute a strategic vision for enabling operational efficiency
  • Facilitate and lead key initiatives, including overall project management, delegation of tasks, managing outside vendor relationships, and organizing communication strategies for key projects
  • Support and lead execution of post-merger integrations (PMI)
  • Conduct advanced analytics using Excel, SQL, and other software
  • Develop reports and output using PowerPoint

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field
    • Associate's degree in business administration, project management, or related field with a minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience and performance in post-merger integration
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience and performance in post-merger integration
  • Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience and performance in post-merger integration
  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

  • Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Able to adapt to everchanging priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Master's degree in business administration, project management, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

BENEFITS:
  • $150,000 - $170,000 annually. This range represents the expected base compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
