Position Title: Director of Strategic Pricing

Location: Peachtree Corners, GA (Hybrid)

The Director of Strategic Pricing is a leadership role responsible for Strategic Pricing for the electrification components business. The leadership responsibilities include management of short-term deals and long-term customer SPA's, Distributor SPA Rebate management, price adjustment rollout, and in modernizing and transforming pricing through automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven decision intelligence as it applies to the strategic pricing organization.

This role serves as the owner for intelligent, customer-facing pricing, leading the shift from manually intensive pricing processes to scalable, automated, and data-driven pricing systems. Pricing is a critical profit lever, and this position has a direct and material impact on business results by improving price realization, speed-to-decision, margin quality, and commercial agility.

The organization led by this role supports managing thousands of customer agreements, making tens of thousands of pricing decisions, and hundreds of thousands of material IDs across distributor and direct sales channels. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to embed AI, automation, and digital discipline into daily pricing execution, while building long-term organizational capability.

You will make an impact with the following responsibilities:

AI, Automation & Digital Pricing Transformation
  • Own and lead the end-to-end transformation of pricing through AI-enabled decision models, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Define and implement AI-driven pricing decision protocols across quoting, agreements, rebate calculations, and list price initiatives.
  • Transition pricing execution from manual, exception-based processes to algorithmic, rules-based, and automated decision frameworks.
  • Champion the adoption of pricing optimization software, machine-learning models, and decision-support platforms.

Strategic Pricing Leadership
  • Lead the strategic pricing organization as the primary responsible party for price realization for Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products Components.
  • Lead and develop a multi-level organization responsible for U.S. price and revenue management, global and national agreements, pricing analytics, data visualization, and pricing operations.
  • Partner with SI EP business leadership to ensure pricing strategy supports growth, profitability, and competitive positioning.
  • Act as the primary strategic advisor on pricing, margin dynamics, automation tradeoffs, and long-term financial impact.
  • Coordinate and lead all U.S. List Price adjustment events and strategic price-setting initiatives affecting market price levels.

Advanced Analytics & Decision Intelligence
  • Direct advanced price and margin analytics across thousands of customer agreements and pricing decisions.
  • Ensure stakeholders have near- and long-term visibility into the financial impact of pricing decisions, supported by predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Define and manage pricing-related KPIs that measure automation effectiveness, decision quality, margin realization, and speed.

Process, Governance & Risk
  • Lead modernization of pricing and rebate processes to reduce financial risk, improve accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Oversee disciplined administration of a large-scale rebate credit program, leveraging automation and controls to reduce risk, improve accuracy, and enhance partner experience.
  • Ensure pricing models, algorithms, and processes comply with Siemens policies.
  • Establish governance for AI-enabled pricing, including transparency, auditability, and continuous improvement.

Talent, Culture & Change Leadership
  • Build and develop a future-ready pricing organization with strong capabilities in analytics, AI, automation, and strategic business partnering.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain talent skilled in data science, pricing strategy, and digital transformation.
  • Drive cultural change to shift pricing from transactional to analytical decision-making, model-assisted execution.
  • Act as a change agent, driving adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working across the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • 10 plus years of proven experience leading large-scale pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics organizations.
  • Demonstrated success driving AI, automation, or advanced analytics transformation in a complex corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, margin management, and commercial decision-making.
  • Experience partnering with senior business, sales, finance, and digital/IT stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with sound commercial and financial judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex AI and analytics concepts into business-integrated outcomes.
  • Proven change leadership capability in matrixed organizations.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in strategy, consulting, business management, product management, analytics, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on exposure to optimization platforms, AI/ML models, decision-support systems, or management science.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL), data modeling, and analytics visualization tools.
  • Understanding of sales channels, go-to-market models, competitive dynamics, and financial controls.

The pay range for this position is $145,156 - $248,839. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $145,156 - $248,839 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
