Director of Sales | Remote (Must live in territory region: MN, ND, WI, IA) + Travel

Own the growth. Lead the field. Build a high-performing dealer network.

Vector is looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Sales to drive profitable growth through our independent dealer channel. You'll lead and develop a top-tier field sales team, expand and elevate our dealer network, and partner cross-functionally to win in the market-while owning the numbers (volume, revenue, and margin).

What You'll Own
  • Field Sales Leadership: Hire, coach, and lead Territory Sales Managers; set clear expectations, territories, and performance standards
  • Dealer Network Growth: Build and execute a strategy to recruit, onboard, and develop high-value dealers in priority markets
  • Performance & Sell-Through: Strengthen dealer training, quoting discipline, and sales processes to drive results
  • Sales Planning & Forecasting: Own the operating plan, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy
  • Programs & Pricing: Partner with VP of Sales and Marketing to shape dealer programs, promotions, and pricing strategies aligned to margin goals
  • CRM & Analytics: Drive disciplined CRM usage and leverage data to improve conversion and win rates
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to deliver a best-in-class dealer experience
