Summary

The Director of Sales, Truck, is responsible for leading the sales strategy, business development, and customer relationship management efforts for the company's truck product line. This role will drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and oversee sales operations for commercial truck accounts and related fleet opportunities. The Director will lead the truck sales team, develop strategic customer relationships, and partner cross-functionally to support successful sales execution, forecasting, and long-term business growth.

Job Description
  • Lead and manage the truck sales team to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the truck business in alignment with company objectives
  • Establish quarterly and annual sales targets and hold the team accountable for performance
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with fleet customers, dealers, distributors, commercial accounts, and public or private sector partners, as applicable
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners to support long-term growth
  • Direct sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline review, sales reporting, and budget management
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, competitor products, and industry developments to inform strategy
  • Review customer requirements and work with internal teams to develop solutions that meet operational and commercial needs
  • Partner with finance, operations, engineering, service, and leadership teams to support proposals, pricing, delivery planning, and customer satisfaction
  • Support contract discussions, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations to achieve customer value while protecting company profitability
  • Improve truck sales processes, reporting, and team effectiveness to strengthen execution and visibility
  • Provide regular business updates, sales forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

PAY RANGE
• $140,000 - $180,000 per year with bonuses
