The
Director of Sales - RushCare develops and executes sales strategy for the RushCare portfolio, including technology and connected-fleet solutions, vehicle telematics, OEM and Rush Enterprises developed software, maintenance plans, and related customer-support services. This role leads a high performing sales team, builds strategic fleet-customer relationships, and aligns sales initiatives with organizational objectives to grow revenue, recurring revenue, customer adoption, and market share. The position delivers integrated solutions that improve fleet uptime, maintenance planning, visibility, and operating efficiency for customers.

Key Objectives:• Develop and execute a comprehensive RushCare sales strategy to achieve revenue, recurring revenue, customer adoption, retention, and market-share goals.
• Lead sales growth across the full RushCare portfolio, including connected-fleet technology, telematics, OEM and Rush Enterprises-developed software, maintenance plans, and related support services.
• Position RushCare offerings as integrated customer solutions that improve fleet uptime, maintenance planning, vehicle visibility, operating efficiency, utilization, renewal, and expansion.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities within current and prospective fleet accounts, target industries, and geographic regions.
• Recruit, train, coach, manage, and hold accountable a high-performing sales team with clear goals, performance metrics, and a results-driven culture.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders; serve as the primary sales contact for major accounts and negotiate agreements that support customer and company objectives.
• Partner with RushCare operations, service, parts, truck sales, technology, product, marketing, finance, and field leadership to create coordinated customer solutions and effective go-to-market plans.
• Develop pricing strategies, sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, account plans, and performance reporting while using market insights, customer feedback, competitive activity, product performance, and adoption trends to refine sales strategy.
Education and/or Experience• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• MBA is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technology, fleet-services, maintenance-program, or solution sales, with a proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, including 5 years of leadership experience managing and scaling sales teams.
• Experience selling recurring-revenue solutions, connected-fleet technology, telematics, maintenance plans, or other fleet-management services is preferred.
• Consideration is given to relevant experience and related certification.
• A valid driver's license may be required, along with a driving record that meets the requirements of the company's insurance provider.
Other Skills and Abilities Required• Deep understanding of fleet operations, vehicle technology, connected-fleet solutions, telematics, maintenance programs, software-enabled services, and relevant industry trends.
• Ability to translate technology, maintenance, and support capabilities into clear business value for fleet customers.
• Ability to develop and execute enterprise sales strategies for complex, multi-stakeholder solutions with recurring-revenue components while refining strategy based on customer needs, market insights, competitive activity, product performance, and adoption trends.
• Ability to provide actionable customer and market feedback to product, service, and technology teams to improve offerings, packaging, implementation, and the customer experience.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, technical, service, operations, field, and finance teams to align sales initiatives, pricing strategies, forecasts, pipeline management, and performance reporting with overall business objectives.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, such as Salesforce, and sales analytics platforms.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
