  • $140k - $170k USD per annum plus bonus

As Director of Sales, North America, you'll lead Qantas' corporate and TMC sales strategy across one of the world's most competitive aviation markets. Based in New York, you'll lead a team of three and manage relationships with some of Qantas' largest corporate customers, travel management companies (TMCs) and industry partners. You'll drive revenue growth, negotiate complex commercial agreements and identify new opportunities across a portfolio of strategic accounts.

Working closely with American Airlines, you'll play a key role in one of Qantas' most important global partnerships while helping shape the future of airline distribution, including NDC adoption across the market. We're looking for a highly commercial and relationship-focused sales leader with experience in corporate sales, TMC partnerships, airline sales or travel distribution, strong negotiation skills and the ability to represent Qantas with credibility, ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset.

You'll have -
  • 10+ years' experience in sales, commercial, distribution or revenue-focused leadership roles.
  • Proven success developing and executing sales strategies that deliver revenue growth and market share gains.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience building, coaching and developing high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, analytical thinking and the ability to make sound strategic decisions in a complex environment.
  • Expertise in strategic selling, key account management, business planning and commercial negotiations.
  • A track record of delivering large-scale sales, marketing or customer growth initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at executive level.
  • Experience within aviation, travel, hospitality or another complex B2B industry, supported by strong CRM and data analysis capability.
