Full Job Description
Summary

The Director of Real-Estate is responsible for building and sustaining Fusion's growth pipeline by identifying, securing, and entitling the right school locations to support planned openings. This role does the hard, front-end work of growth-site selection, deal structuring, lease negotiation, zoning, and entitlements-ensuring Fusion has a deep, high-quality, 2x+ pipeline of viable sites with strong economics and predictable approval paths. Culturally, this role requires an owner's mindset, speed with discipline, and comfort operating in ambiguity while pushing decisions forward. The Director of Real Estate balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, partners tightly with Construction, Finance, and Launch to reduce downstream risk, and builds repeatable systems so site acquisition becomes a platform-not a series of one-off deals. The purpose of the role is simple and critical: make sure Fusion can grow on schedule, with confidence.

  • Ensure alignment with school opening timelines

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with:
    • Construction (TI feasibility, cost alignment)
    • Finance (underwriting, capital allocation)
    • Operations (enrollment and site performance assumptions)

  • Establish clear processes, tools, and reporting cadence
  • Implement standardized dashboards and pipeline tracking
