Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program; Bachelor's preferred.
• Specialized CT or MRI training preferred.
• Supervisory experience in medical imaging required.
• Previous radiology technologist experience, including Nuclear Medicine.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current CRT state license, Fluoroscopy permit, and ARRT-R certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) required.
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory standards at federal, state, and local levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the radiology department's activities.
• Ensure safety protocols are adhered to for patients and staff.
• Manage human resources functions, including staff training and competency assessments.
• Oversee staffing levels to ensure optimal department operation.
• Develop and manage the department budget aligned with safety and compliance goals.
• Monitor departmental performance indicators and quality improvement activities.
• Perform radiology technician duties as needed, responding to departmental needs.
