Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Director of the Program Management Office (PMO) provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight for Upstate's project and program portfolio. This role ensures alignment of strategic initiatives with organizational priorities, establishes enterprise standards for project delivery, and drives consistent execution through defined processes, tools, and policies. The PMO Director collaborates with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and Information Management & Technology (IMT) teams to optimize resource utilization, manage budgets, and deliver measurable value.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and at least five years relevant information systems experience or Associate's degree and seven years relevant information systems experience. Two years of staff leadership experience required. Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) required within two years of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an academic medical center preferred. Experience with enterprise-level program management preferred.
